I haven’t posted a wedding in a LONG time.
The truth is, I am not shooting very many weddings, anymore.
When Julianne emailed me last year about taking her wedding she gave me a very compelling list of the
reasons that I should photograph her celebration. First, I had photographed several of her mother’s friend’s children’s
weddings (and I love that group of women and their kids). Second, she worked with one of my best friends.
And the most enticing factor was that her mother babysat said friend’s infant husband in Illinois 40-some years ago.
True story.
From then on, I fell for these guys pretty hard. They are darling, they have a puppy and Julianne’s laugh is infectious.
They are gracious, kind, fun and super easy to get along with. I love their families and Julianne’s dad likes the same music that I do.
Probably destiny.
I’ll start with a couple of shots from their engagement session and then I owe them a sneak peek from their wedding day.
Julianne and John, THANK you for allowing us to be a part of that day. It was truly one for the books and
I hope I get to know you guys for a long, long time.
Anything without my watermark was taken by the lovely Mandy Miller.
