wow. where did that year go? i’m proud to say that we survived the first year of parents of multiples (plus). i will admit that the first two months went by pretty slowly. but after that, it’s been a whirlwind. we surely couldn’t have done it without the help of grandma jan, grandma kathy and pop pop. and many thanks to sarah for picking up the slack in the office, when i couldn’t.
i had to really slow things down for that year, but i’m incredibly excited to pick back up. we have so many things planned for this year. things that have been brewing since before shae (our second) was born.
when i was in college, one of my mentors told me i probably couldn’t “have it all.” he didn’t think i couldn’t have a successful career and a large family.
