lindsay & jonathan

we photographed lindsay & jonathan’s wedding on my own wedding anniversary weekend this year. i almost didn’t shoot it, because i try to keep that weekend free. but i’m so happy that i did because we had a great time with these two and they had a really phenomenal (kick a**) wedding.

first of all, for any of you who have young children at home, lindsay is giselle from “enchanted”. she is a fairy tale. she is sweet and sing-songy and calls people “love” and is eternally happy. her mom told me she’s been like that her whole life.

you could tell that jonathan is just smitten by her and plays the role of her prince quite well.

my friend kathryn is great, great friends with lindsay and shot the getting ready part of the day and the formals at her studio. we then walked over to the temple for performing arts for the ceremony & reception.

lindsay’s mom (yes that is her mom, not her sister) was a big part of lindsay’s wedding day. she was just beaming.

lindsay put a lot of thought into the details. this is as she is seeing her reception room for the first time.

top left and bottom detail shots by sarah schulte.

all of the attendants were the couple’s siblings. of course, they were all darling, as well.

getting ready to walk down the aisle with her dad.

lindsay passed portraits of her family members’ wedding photographs as she made her way to the aisle.
the photograph in the foreground is lindsay’s parents on their wedding day.

i know i must say the same thing over and over, again, but it is so true. i have the best couples and i am so blessed to be able to photograph these days.
lindsay, you are simply adorable. jonathan, you make a charming prince.

a very happily ever after to you both.

Mark - Outstanding work, ladies. You tamed the Temple and that’s no easy feat.
